Afternoon Early Childhood Aide

St. Teresa of Avila Child Development Center is a non-profit agency serving children and families in northern Nevada since 2009. We maintain an excellent reputation in Carson City for early childhood development. We are affiliated with St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School and are located on the same campus. The purpose of St. Teresa of Avila Child Development Center is to foster spiritual, social/emotional, academic, and physical child development for our students. We have designed a curriculum and daily schedule which will have reachable goals for each child admitted into our program.  We serve children aged 3-5 in a safe, faith-filled environment.

Job details

• Wage range: $15-$18 per hour
• Job Type: Part-time
• Work Location: Carson City
• Schedule: Flexible afternoon hours – 12-5:30 or 3-5:30

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Childcare experience: 1 year preferred
• Minimum 16 years old

Before/After School Program Director

The Before/After School Program Director is responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of site staff, students, and daily program activities. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to work in a lively, fast-paced environment filled with joy and excitement. The Director must prioritize safety and ensure all planning and preparations are thorough. The position involves outdoor activities in various weather conditions, including sunny, wet, or humid environments.
