Welcome Kindergartners to 2012!  We are half way through our school year.  Continue to check this page for updates on our activities.



Please refer to Kindergarten News, our weekly class newsletter, for more information on the goings-on in our Kindergarten classroom.  The newsletter is in the students’ folders on Thursdays and is also on this page.

 

 

Homework for each day, Monday through Thursday: Please set aside a time each evening (about 15 minutes) to read and then talk about a story with your child.  Make this time shared together a routine that is special and anticipated.  Then, the student should write the title of the book on the Reading Log in their home folder.

 

At this time of year, we introduce an addiitonal worksheet for homework to reinforce classroom lessons.  We hope homework helps establish good study habits for the rest of the grade school years.  It should be a positive, productive experience.
