Dear Parents,

Here are the News & Notes for the week:

*Please send $4 with your son or daughter for our Valentine's Day Party next Tuesday, February 14th from 1:45-2:50 PM. As noted in the homework planner and newsletter, if you are able to volunteer please let Jeanne McCraw or myself know.

*Be sure to review our newsletter and homework planner for curriculum information and reminders

*Mass at school tomorrow so please be sure your child comes to school in mass attire.

*Mad Minute Math is tomorrow. Your child took practice sheets home today.

I've attached the weekly newsletter, homework planner, monthly extra credit and weekly extra credit math problem for your records.

Week of December 5

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School - Tuesday, December 13, 2011

Dear Parents,

 The St. Teresa website was having some technical problems and needed updating over the last few weeks. I'm sorry for the delay and past blog posts for the year have been lost. I'm glad that the website is up and running again. 

 Reminders:

*Mass Thursday, December 8th at St. Teresa of Avila Church. Bring your child to the church by 8:25 AM.

*Reading comprehension sheet and math review sheet are due Friday, December 9th with the homework planner.

*Please send $4 with your son or daughter for the Christmas party.

*Please let Jeanne McCraw or myself know if you are able to volunteer at the Christmas party. Our class party will be Friday, December 16th from 1:45-2:55 PM.

Continue to read the weekly newsletter and homework planner for updates, reminders and curriculum information. I can't believe that it's already the middle of the 2nd quarter. I'm impressed with the efforts and achievements of the class thus far.

Week of December 12

Dear Parents,

I can't believe that it's almost Christmas Vacation. We have been very busy in third grade. Please review the homework planner and newsletter for important information. Here are the reminders for this week:

*Homework planner due Friday

*Reading Comprehension Sheet: Smokey Bear due Friday

*Math Review Sheet (both sides) due Friday

Our solar system reader's theater performance We Are the Planets is Friday, December 16th. We will perform at 9:45 AM and 1:15 PM in the multipurpose room. Please feel free to attend if possible. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures.

 Our Christmas Party is Friday, December 16th from 1:45 PM - 2:55 PM. Everyone is welcome. Please send $4 with your son or daughter for party supplies.
